Dan's first Benchmark. Not that it was difficult using dgreno's excellent detective work, which I was thankful for. The NAD83 coords were off by about 25 feet (could be operator error though).

dgreno says about this benchmark: "This marker is at 828 Grant Avenue, Novato, California in Marin County, North of San Francisco. When it was originally place in 1951, this was at the entrance to the post office. Since then the post office has moved numerous times and now this is a used book store but the disc was right where it was supposed to be. This was a very fun cache -- seemed like real detective work to track this one down!"
