DIRGE 3,396 K
lyrics: Dalrymple
vocals: Dalrymple
drums/bass: Aynardi
guitar: Ross

This song's original lyrics were about a crowd of people standing around a tree watching a man getting lynched. We had trouble with getting it to fit with the music and in the end Dan gave the lyrics over to Craig to make his own. His Dirge lies in the nightmarish reality of working in a mental institution. What you hear within are echoes of the screams within an asylum.

Now the nightmare begins
The body lies in the casket
Flesh rotting in the soil
Yet the wounds and scars live on
And I see faces haunting me
I hear voices calling out to me

(chorus)
See the rain
Feel the pain
Feel it gnawing on my brain
Feel the rain
Sense the pain
Feel the pain and go insane
Dripping tears Lurking Fears
Rain rain go away
Come again another day
See the rain coming down
Watch it falling on the ground
Watch the rain
Go insane
Feel it flowing through your town

Voices from the asylum
It's time for your medication
Mr. Hyde, it's time for your shower
Come on, get up and go to the tubroom
Go to the tubroom Mr. Hyde!
Get away from me you frogface!
Did you urinate in your pants?
Did you suffer a toilet accident?
(monkey hoots)
It's like another reality!
I have come for your soul.
We are going down to hell!!
No, nooo... Aaaahhh!!

A totalitarian state
Corpses strewn about the battlefield
The burning mushroom cloud annihilates
Everything, the holocaust is here
This is the end of the world!!
