OWL CREEK 2,029 K
lyrics/vocals/guitar: Ross

Based on the story Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge by Ambrose Bierce.

There's been a war
Men in blue and men in gray
A prisoner's been caught
And he's going to hang today

Have him tied to a bridge
Owl Creek is far below them
They push him off the edge
The wind makes him swing some

Then it happened just like that
The rope faltered and then snapped
Sending down to the river below
To the safety of a distant bank

Running through a forest land
Running as fast as he can
Makes thanks to god he spared his life
Knowing once again he'd see his wife

Almost makes it to her open arms
When the world fades and then is gone
Finding out to his despair
That he's still hanging there...

At the Owl Creek Bridge
